GBD Accounts was established in January 2020, by Gurdeep Dhami, a fully qualified chartered accountant with 15 years of experience in a large accountancy practice. Gurdeep spent the most recent 10 years specialising in corporate finance, mainly undertaking due diligence assignments for potential investors and acquirers of businesses.

After a short career break following starting a family, Gurdeep decided to set up her own practice. The business began from the kitchen table – little was it known at the time that a few months later, working from home would become the new normal for so many others too.

The business has steadily built up a varied client base across many sectors, with a particular focus on clients from the business community in West Midlands. Gurdeep has utilised all of her previous knowledge and experience, to be able to provide a value-added quality service with a personal touch.
